4000 performers coming to Kaustinen
Kaustisen kansanmusiikkijuhlille saapuu heinäkuun toisen viikon aikana noin 4000 esiintyjää. Musiikin ja tanssin lisäksi ohjelmassa on työpajoja, seminaareja sekä teematapahtumia niin paljon, että kävijöille riittää tekemistä keikkojen seuraamisen lisäksi koko viikon ajaksi. Ennen festivaalia ja festivaalin jälkeen pidettävät talkoopäivät ovat tulleet jo perinteeksi. Luvassa on festivaalialueen siistimistä, rakentamista/purkamista ja muuta mukavaa. Living heritage is widely showcased in Kaustinen

The happiest days of the summer on the road to Unesco 8.-14.7.2019 52. The Kaustinen Folk Music Festival programme is headlined by notable performers from Finland and abroad. This year's theme is rhythm, which reaches the listener with all senses.
