The happiest days of the summer on the road to Unesco 8.-14.7.2019 52. The Kaustinen Folk Music Festival programme is headlined by notable performers from Finland and abroad. This year's theme is rhythm, which reaches the listener with all senses. In addition to organising the festival, Kaustinen is working hard throughout the year to ensure that the Kaustis violin will be inscribed on UNESCO's World Intangible Cultural Heritage List as early as 2021.
