The last remote rehearsals of the Great Concert Band will be played on Saturday 3.7. from Kelloniemi in Kuopio Anna and Antti Janka-Murroksen under your leadership, when the time to take over Mate's mess. It was composed by Tuure Niskanen (1899-1978), one of the first four championship players of all time in 1970.
Tuure Niskanen from Pielavet had a recognisable style of playing. According to his playing friends, he added Savo with all possible embellishments, and that is why the tunes progressed lightly and nimbly. The violinist is apt to enhance the use of the bow with small lifts. A model can be found in the recorded instruments.
As an extra track, next Saturday's broadcast will feature Wise-Oll's rimppa.
A great collective call will return to the festival week programme as planned in this historic year, although it is still not possible to play with a large crowd side by side in Kaustinen's main arena.
In VirtuaaliKaustinen, the great collective play is led by a group of players from Kaustinen, Satakunta and Savo. Hopefully, on the Saturday of the festival week, there will be small, big collaborations from all over Finland in front of the screen!
As they say in Kaustinen, ”the main thing is that you call”.
A great collective call
