This week, the Saturday busker at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival will sing and play music from South Ostrobothnia. The live live broadcast starts on 23 May at 14:00 on the My Kaustinen group on Facebook.
The broadcast will be filmed from the Alahärmä lakes and will be led by folk music all-rounders, a couple of musicians. Antti Järvelä and Maya Pokela (pictured). There will be truck singing, polka singing and polka from Härmä and Kauhava.
You can join in the playing or singing during or after the live broadcast, and the video will be kept in the group. The sheet music can be found on the FB event and in the My Kaustinen group under Photos/Albums (jpg image) and Files (printable pdf files).
The Kaustinen Folk Music Festival organises an online play-along event on Saturdays of odd-numbered weeks at 14:00. The next online meeting will be on 6 June.
