The final of the sixth national Konsta Jylhä competition took place at Pelimannitalo in Kaustinen Folk Music Festival on Tuesday 7.7.2015. The theme of this year's competition was folk song.

Onni Rajaniemi won the traditional series, Leija Lautamaja came second, Tomas Takolander third and Jukka Hynninen fourth.

The free series was won by Tero Pajunen, second place went to Tiina Louneva & J-P Piirainen, third to Katri Somerjoki & Stefanos Hirvonen and fourth to Kari Kuosmanen. Special mention was also given to Kari Kuosmanen for her presentation of localism and Onni Rajaniemi for her skilful and novel use of traditional material.

The Konsta Jylhä competition is organised by Pelimannitalo in cooperation with the Folk Music Institute.

The first place prize was €2000. The total prize money awarded was €10 000.
