In cooperation with the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival and the ITE Museum, summer visitors will arrive in the courtyard of the Kaustinen Folk Art Centre from 15 June to 12 July. The Poetry Theme by Frenchman Jacques Lucas, the Temple-like building by Englishman Ben Wilson, Juha Vanhanen's Poor Vehicles and the Crane Plow will be joined by works from the ITE Museum's collection. Visitors are known in advance, at least, as Jouko Kinnunen's Mother of the Mother Bears from Viitasaar and Väinö Oja's charming female figures from Paimio.
The Rural Artists' Union renovated its works in the courtyard of the People's Art Centre last summer 2014, in collaboration with the ITE Museum and the Festival, and now it's time to expand the exhibition with a summer visit. The summer visits will continue to take place around the time of the Folk Music Festival. A larger ITE Art Garden is also planned for the grounds of the Folk Art Centre.
