At the Tekosyy Club on Monday, hosted by Heikki Salo Heidi Maria Paalanen and Antti Paalanen made a song called KAUSTINEN. It turned out so good that we can't resist publishing the lyrics already. The authors plan to make a final arrangement and recording of the song, which will be released at a later date. Until then, we can reminisce about past festivals and dream about the ones to come. The idea of the lyrics is a familiar feeling to many: ”You come back to this same place every year. You have changed, but the place never changes”.

KAUSTINEN (compos. Heidi Maria Paalanen & Antti Paalanen / lyrics. H.M.P / sop. H.M.P & A.P. and Jesse Kaikuranta)

silenced songs

come to life

meadow cat bells

ringing in unison

longing for violins

time now bends

pelican chain

ringing from here to the stars

I'm here

oon

year again

and everything changed

my heart broke in two

when I come here

I'm always new

and the arena echoes

echoing in the arena

kaustinen

jam somewhere out there

at the mouth of the river Perhon

the stars above us

it's good to be here

under the canopy

the charm of accordions

chain of singers

glowing in hearts

I'm here

oon

year again

and everything changed

my heart broke in two

but when I come here

I'm always new

and the arena echoes

echoing in the arena

year again

and everything changed

my heart broke many times

when I come here

I'm always young

and the arena echoes

echoing in the arena

kaustinen
