The programme has been modified due to the corona situation. There will be limited public events, as well as concerts, workshops and other activities by VirtuaaliKaustinen. A normal festival cannot be organised this summer, but it will be as good a week of events as possible.
The concerts and gigs announced in the programme will definitely be on the VirtualLaustinen programme. Most of the events will take place in Kaustinen, and will be attended by as many people as interest rate limits allow. Kaustinen will be visited by, among others. Frigg, Mariska and Kaustinen HouseBand and Vesala-Järvelä-Rahmel.
From the original programme, e.g. Mari Boine has been moved to the festival week of 2022. The full programme will be announced on 15 June. There will also be a public participation programme for VirtualKaustinen, so home audiences can start to plan their festival preparations.
Unfortunately, thousands of players cannot be accommodated in Kaustinen, but fresh video presentations are expected. Follow this News page and our social media channels.
