This popular night hike with live music offers a chance to explore the landscapes surrounding the Kaustinen festival area and get into the spirit of the upcoming week with live music playing along the route. This tour showcases the rugged rocky terrain — important to the people of Kaustinen—located right near the center, in close proximity to the festival grounds, so you can walk directly to the starting point from your accommodations.

The route is approximately 5.5 km long and takes about 3 hours to complete.

The starting point is Kalliontie 13 (the sports field parking lot), and the hike ends at the Kalliopaviljonki (Kallioklubi) around midnight.

The hiking group from Perhonjokilaakson Retkeilijät ry will serve as guides. First aid services will be available along the route.

Bring your own snacks and a water bottle; there will also be an opportunity to grill sausages along the way. We recommend wearing hiking boots with ankle support or sturdy sneakers.

Participation fee 5 €/person. Payment can be made in cash or by card at the starting point (please have exact change ready if paying in cash).
