Great Festival in a Small Village
Welcome to the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival once more on 12th - 18th July 2021
The Kaustinen Folk Music Festival has been one of the most important folk music events in the Nordic countries and throughout Europe for more than five decades. Our visitors return to this family-friendly festival year after year - the atmosphere in Kaustinen is unforgettable.
In July, Kaustinen, a Central Ostrobothnian village with 4,300 inhabitants, invites tens of thousands of guests year after year to enjoy the happiest days of the summer. From the very beginning, the festival has been built on the basis of a strong, unbroken Kaustinen fiddling tradition, and the fiddling spirit of four centuries still lives in the strong and dynamic Kaustinen region. There's plenty of time for jamming around the clock and the numerous facilities of the festival and Kaustinen area provide a good setting for a longer or shorter visit. Everyone enjoys Kaustinen!
From this page you will get help for a successful festival visit and we will add more information as the festival approaches. If you don't find what you need here, please contact us at email@example.com

Getting Here and Parking
Kaustinen sijaitsee valtatie 13 ja kantatie 63 risteyksessä. Lähin rautatieasema sijaitsee Kokkolassa (45km Kaustiselta), lähin lentokenttä sijaitsee Kruunupyyssä (Kokkola-Pietarsaaren lentoasema) noin puolen tunnin ajomatkan päässä Kaustiselta. Festivaaliviikolla liikennöi oma festaribussi lähes ympäri vuorokauden Kokkolan ja Kaustisen väliä, normaalit bussivuorot löytyvät matkahuollon sivuilta.
There are several free parking spaces for festival guests in the vicinity of the festival area. Camping is not allowed in the parking areas.
The original ticket sales have been closed and the festival wishes to return all admission tickets purchased before the beginning of June 2021. This is so that next year’s ticket sales can start from the beginning. Tickets can be returned by 31.8.2021. Existing tickets cannot be used at subsequent festivals.
More detailed information can be found in the Tickets menu.
We will announce the new ticket sales for summer 2021 on June 15, 2021.
