Dāphā music is Nepal's Newa community traditional music. It is especially Kathmandu Valley the sacred and communal musical tradition of the impressive Neva people, combining singing, rhythmic playing and spiritual poetry. Dāphā is often performed in temples or community spaces on special gathering days, based on precise traditional performance methods and collective participation.
