Showcase application form will be open until 15.2.2026 mennessä.
Kaustisen festivaaleilla on valittu Showcase-yhtyeitä vuodesta 2013. Vakiintuneessa sarjassa esitellään eteenpäin tavoittelevia, nousevia ja kansainvälistyviä kansanmusiikin tekijöitä ja nimiä. Showcase-sarjaan valitaan kolme yhtyettä tai artistia, joista kukin esiintyy kahtena eri päivänä ja kahdella eri lavalla festivaaleilla. Kesän 2026 showcase-sarja toteutetaan yhteistyössä Yle Radio 1:n ja Music Finlandin kanssa.
Sarjaan valitaan kolme artistia tai yhtyettä. Valituille esiintyjille ilmoitetaan valinnasta henkilökohtaisesti maaliskuussa 2026.
You should apply as a showcase band, if you are
- solo artist or a band
- toiveena esiintyä festivaalin äänentoistollisilla tai haluamillaan lavoilla
- interest and aim to target international music markets
- hoping to develop the band's / artist's own marketing skills
The one selected for the Showcase series are offered
- esiintymispaikat Kallioklubilla, Mondossa, Kestikievarissa, PH Nordgren -salissa (akustinen) tai Pelimannitalossa (akustinen)
- coaching from Music Finland for marketing your own expertise, networking with the delegation and creating international contacts
- prominent visibility in the marketing of the festival (print, social media, www and press conferences during the festival week).
In addition
- accommodation with breakfast (maximum 3 nights)
- food for each performer at the festival restaurant on the day of the performance
- each band gets 200€ travel allowance (invoiced)
