Photo Susanna Salokannel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Showcase <a href=\"https:\/\/gest.fi\/customers\/chfaei\/9255?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">application form will be open until<\/a> by February 15, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Showcase bands have been selected at the Kaustinen festival since 2013. The already established series presents forward-looking, emerging and internationalized folk music names. Three bands will be selected for the Showcase series, each of which will perform on two different days and on two different stages at the festival. The summer 2026 showcase series is implemented in cooperation with<em>\u00a0Music Finland<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Three artists or bands will be selected for the series. The selected performers will be notified personally in March 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>You should apply as a showcase band, if you are<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">solo artist or a band<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">hoping to perform on the bigger stages at the festival<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">interest and aim to target international music markets<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">hoping to develop the band's \/ artist's own marketing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The one selected for the Showcase series are offered<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">performing venues at Club Kallio \/ Kallioklubi, Mondo, Kestikievari, PH Nordgren hall (acoustic) or Pelimannitalo (acoustic)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">coaching from Music Finland for marketing your own expertise, networking with the delegation and creating international contacts<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">prominent visibility in the marketing of the festival (print, social media, www and press conferences during the festival week).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">accommodation with breakfast (maximum 3 nights)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">food for each performer at the festival restaurant on the day of the performance<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">each band gets 200\u20ac travel allowance (invoiced)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Additional information about the showcase series from the Programme Director or from artists@kaustinen.net<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kaustinen.net\/en\/showcase-yhtyeet-kautta-aikain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Showcase bands through time<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-40080","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
