Children’s tent is open every day and there’s heaps of stuff going on! Opening hours 5 pm – 7pm on Monday, and 11am – 7pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Crafts tent

Between the Children’s tent concerts you can have a rest in the Crafts tent, or have a creative moment with some drawing and crafts. What does a flabbergasted folk musician look like? What’s your dream instrument like? What have you seen happening around the festival? Let your imagination fly! And if you’re drawing a blank, the Crafts tent staff are there to help you.

Folk Musician Competition for Kids

Would you like to take part? Sign up with the Children’s tent hosts. The competition takes place daily from Tuesday until Friday at the Children’s tent. The prizes are handed on Saturday. All the participants will get an official certificate!

Dance at the Tent

There’s folk dancing for the whole family every day at the Children’s tent. Children’s dance groups perform daily, and the whole audience can join in on mini dance workshops.

Child care room

There’s a child care room situated in the secondary school premises on the Festival Yard. It offers a quiet place for heating up meals, diaper changing and having a rest in the middle of all the festival hustle and bustle.
